She is admitted to both the Idaho and California State Bar. In 1992 she moved to Boise with her husband. Prior to moving to Boise she practiced law in California as a civil litigator. In Idaho, she was a Deputy Attorney General for the Public Employee Retirement System (PERSI) until her son was born in 1997.
